In an effort to make the Farmingdale Forum "user-moderated" we added a Post Rating System where all Registered Members are able to negatively rate posts which they believe to be malicious and/or inappropriate for the Forum, or belligerent posts that instigate petty bickering or personal attacks. When any particular post receives a certain number of -1 ratings it is automatically removed from the board:
Any member who decides to rate an individual
post may only do so ONCE. |
We reserve the right to Ban from the Forum Members who:
- Persistently attempt to rate the same post several times.
or- Re-post a message content that was previously rated-off.

After reading a post, you will see a "Rate-it!" button just like the one below. Click on Rate it! to cast your vote to have the post removed. You may try it with the sample rating box below, and see what shows up on your screen after you vote...
The rating system will only be successful if everyone uses it fairly. Please do not cast a negative vote to a post merely because you disagree with an opinion being expressed respectfully and in good will -- only rate posts that you believe are malicious, ill-natured and/or not appropriate for the Forum. We hope we can count on your cooperation!
