The Farmingdale Adult Day Care Center is a non-profit organization with the purpose of reaching out in support of families who are caring for the elderly living at home, especially those with physical or cognitive limitations who are no longer able to participate in their normal social groups.

The Center provides supervised socialization and a variety of appropriate activities designed to engage and stimulate the clients.  The Center strives to maintain and stimulate mental and physical capabilities to the best of the clients abilities.  This ministry also provides time for family member to make appointments, do shopping, or simply to take a quiet, refreshing moment for themselves.

The Farmingdale Adult Day Care Center is offered at the Farmingdale United Methodist Church, 407 Main St., Farmingdale. It is an interfaith community supported by the cooperative efforts of:

  • Farmingdale United Methodist Church
  • Farmingdale Jewish Center
  • St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church
  • St. Thomas Episcopal Church
  • St. Luke Lutheran Church

Limited local transportation is provided by St. Kilian's Social Outreach Ministry:

A handicap-equipped van allows
for local door-to-door service.

Rocky's Bakery, Stuff A Bagel and D'luque's provide goods for morning snacks. Delicious and nutritious hot lunches are provided through the services of Daleview Nursing Home.

Farmingdale Adult Day Care Center is a non-profit corporation, supported by the dedication of volunteers. We are able to provide this service at a reasonable and affordable cost, which includes transportation, meals and all activities.
